Online book rental giant Booksfree.com launches Children's Books Rental Service, saves parents money.
Vienna, VA (PRWEB) September 9, 2009 -- Booksfree.com, the largest and oldest online paperback and audiobook rental service, today said it has launched a new Children's Books rental service designed specifically for children. The service boasts over 28,000 children's books for ages 0-12 in paperback and hardcover.
"We've had many requests from members to add children's books" said President and CEO Doug Ross. The company continues to focus on the needs of its members and the addition of the Children's Books service is no exception. Children's Books are a natural fit to the host of services Booksfree offers, given that a large percentage of its members are woman with young children. With spiraling costs for children's books, this new addition will save parents significant dollars while opening them up to thousands of new selections.
The new Children's Books section has a children's theme and was simplified to make it more user friendly for children. "We didn't just want to build a site with children's books" said Ross, "We wanted to build a site children can easily interact with". Although children are encouraged to interact with the site, a parent or guardian with a valid credit card or checking account is required in order to join the service.
Existing members of Booksfree's paperback and combo plans will automatically have access to the Children's Books section. This gives existing Booksfree members access to an additional 28,000 titles at no extra cost. The Children's Books service also has its own membership plans for those who only want children's books. Plans start at just $13.99 a month for unlimited rentals. Gift memberships are also available in monthly increments.
"This is the largest addition to our site since we added our MP3-CD audiobooks rental service back in February 2005" Ross said. "We continue to add value to our service that simply can't be matched". With the difficult economic times, it's nice to see a service like Booksfree.com adding value and saving people money.
