I dont care if an 18 year old was considered an old maid in the 14th century. Our hero was a grown man from the 20th century. As a practicing physician, he must have been at least in his 30s As I read this in the 21st, I held him to the ethics of his own time and seducing a teenaged girl was just repugnant. Im planning to locate and read the prequel A Love Through Time to learn about his parents moral fiber. Maybe they didnt raise him right? Still no excuse at his age.
