If you finished reading The Ugly Duchess wondering what happened with the other pirate, as I did this is the book that picks up the saga of Griffin Barry, the Dukes cousin, and his pursuit of his own missing bride. Unfortunately, the copy I received was missing the first 32 pages but since I was already acquainted with the hero, I plunged in quickly figured out what was going on. It helped when the characters from the first book reappeared in the second half of this one. It loses a star for the missing section, but gains one for fixing the major flaw of the first book.
