Synopsis

Based on author Martha Grimes’s own childhood memories, BELLE RUIN is the third in a series starring 12-year-old Emma Graham, waitress at her mother’s rundown hotel and part-time investigative reporter/amateur sleuth. This time, Emma devotes herself to probing the mystery surrounding the destruction of Belle Rouen, an upscale hotel that burned down 20 years ago, just after the infant of a couple staying there was kidnapped.
