Romance and adventure drive Blood Ransom, by Lisa Harris, a powerful thriller about the modern-day slave trade and those who dare to challenge it. Deep in the heart of Africa, two American lives are about to change forever. Natalie Sinclair and Dr. Chad Talcott want to make a difference in underdeveloped African villages ... but they didn't count on risking their lives in the process.
As I love stories set in Africa, I could not wait to read this book and it did not diasppoint. Fast paced and action packed, it kept me up way too late several nights. I loved the references made to everyday life in Africa and the way the author handled the problem of human slavery without letting it overtake the plot. Read it--you will love it. Much better writing than the average Christian novel.
