I couldn't wait to read these books, they're supposed to be stories about magic. They aren't. They are horror. No fantasy or magic in them at all. It never even clarifies if the so called witches in this story can actually do magic or if they just follow the religion. These stories are horror filled, gory and very frightening. I wouldn't let my teenage sister read them. I don't recommended them unless you are a Stephen King fan and love suspense, horror, and gore. These books are not what they appear to be. And yes, I read all 4 of them hoping they would get better or there would be something more interesting eventually. No such luck. These books were terrible.
