Johanna Lindsey continues her Malory romance series with the feisty CAPTIVE OF MY DESIRES. After three years of treasure hunting with her pirate father, Gabrielle Brooks must return to London society for a different kind of adventure--husband-hunting. Her father has put her under the care of James and Georgina Malory, who see to it that Gabrielle attends all the right soirees in order to meet an eligible bachelor. But when Gabrielle sets her sights on Georgina Malory's brother, the rakish sea captain Drew Anderson, Drew not only rejects her affection, but the night before he leaves town he ensnares her in a society scandal. Gabrielle is determined to even the score, and calls upon her pirate friends for assistance. With their help she captures Drew and his ship, but things don't play out exactly as she'd planned, as her handsome prisoner has unleashed a passion inside her that is more difficult to weather than the stormiest of seas.

This is quite possibly the worst book I've ever had the misfortune to read. I generally don't write comments on the books I've loved or hated, but this novel was so God-awful I wouldn't inflict it on my own worst enemy. The heroine and the hero were ridiculous I couldn't even finish it
Wonderful! All the books on the Mallory's are great to read. You will laugh and want to read to books over and over.
