Okay, I seem to be one of the few that didnt like this book very much. Dont get me wrong, it was well written, but there were some major story points that bugged me to no end! For one if you read Comanche Moon and know the character of Amy at all you will see in this book that her character has COMPLETELY changed! Shes almost nothing like she was in the first book which really bothered me because I like a strong female lead in a story. At one point I literally yelled at the book geez girl grow a spine!. I realize Anderson wrote in reasons for Amys apparent regression into the lamb shes become in this book but I just had a really hard time buying it. I dont think Amy would have digressed to that level. Does that make me a book snob? Probably, but what can I say. Anderson had such a great character with Amy in the first book it was a shame to see her change it.
