From internationally bestselling author Harlan Coben comes this third action-packed installment of his bestselling Mickey Bolitar series.
As mysterious clues continue to surface, Mickey is determined to uncover the truth about his father's death. Was it accidental? Murder? Or is he in fact still alive? With the help of his Uncle Myron and loyal friends, Spoon and Ema, Mickey unravels the mysteries of the Abeona Shelter and the elusive "Butcher of Lodz"—all while trying to navigate the ins and outs of everyday life in high school.
"This third Mickey Bolitar mystery starts at a swift pace and never lets up."—Booklist
After reading the first two books in this series, I bought the entire set for my 17-year-old granddaughter. Why? Two reasons: I want her to be exposed to excellent writing, and I want her to know that Im the coolest grandma EVER.I love Myron Bolitar, but I didnt need the Myron connection to appreciate these Young Adult books. Everything Harlan Coben writes--Bolitar or not--is top-notch, and this series adds the attractions of being family-friendly and a quicker read than Cobens adult fiction. The series element is handled very well in FOUND. Coben gently and creatively fills us in on the what we may have forgotten from the first two books. With some writers, that can make for tedious reading, but Coben slips it in so deftly that we barely notice. When we come to the last page and sigh with satisfaction, we wont find this story any easier to let go of that any other Coben novel. There are moral issues to ponder, and questions about where the characters will go from there. Will there be more books featuring Mickey Bolitar? I hope so. Im not a Young Adult, but this is a real book and worth anyones time.
