I found the book to be a easy book and very entertaining.
I struggled with liking this book. I caught myself rolling my eyes everytime I read the whining of Christiana's 'boring' life. Over and over and over again, I kept reading this character's 'poor little me' and she just came across as such a crybaby. When she was in Africa, I enjoyed her most. But all the whining and sniveling about her 'duty' to her father just got old and boring for me. The ending was pretty predictable and I felt that it left me feeling completely unmoved about this modern day fairy tale. Maybe I would've been more satisfied if Danielle Steel had wrapped up this story with an epilogue... to give me an idea how a doctor was able to adapt to marrying an ruling princess. This was not one of my favorite stories by this author. Sorry.
