Synopsis

Hondo Lane is a man who hides his loneliness behind a cloak of independence, a man whose toughness runs deep and is born of necessity. Hondo is acutely aware of danger as, with each broken treaty, the Apache raids on incoming settlers threaten a frontier wife and her young son. In protecting them from harm, he discovers the one woman who can quell his warrior's heart, and grows close to the boy who considers Hondo the father he never had.
