Synopsis

Jacqueline Carey returns to the darkly erotic milieu of the Kushiel's Legacy series, launching a new trilogy with a fresh narrator. Prince Imriel no Montreve de la Courcel, the adopted son of the spy/courtesan Phedre no Delaunay and her consort, the warrior Joscelin Vereuil, strives to escape the legacy of his traitorous true parents, the deceased Prince Benedicte and the seductive and dangerous Lady Melisande Shahrizai.
