Don't bother. It took me almost a month to get through this plodder of a book. It usually takes me a day. The male character, Conn, is bare bones and the female is not much more fleshed out. It seems to be that way with the whole book. The plot is almost nonexistent. Medeiros uses flowery language that just doesn't flow in this instance. If this was the first book I'd read by her, I'd never read another one.
