Synopsis

When recent events lead to debates as to how to interpret the Bill of Rights, the nation finds itself on edge as changes to the Bill of Rights are about to be imposed. With the possibility of the foundation of our nation crumbling, evidence is revealed that an early draft of the US Constitution exists…and not just any first draft. The New England delegates annotated this one, leaving their thoughts about Bill of Rights, and what they intended for each amendment. But the draft was stolen from Philadelphia and disappeared from history.

Antiquarian Peter Fallon and his girlfriend Evangeline, the main characters from Back Bay and Harvard Yard are back for another treasure hunt through time. And this time, the person who finds this draft first could change American history. Battling politicians from both sides of the debate, Peter and Evangeline must get to it first, because they know that if the wrong people get it and don't like what it says, they will destroy it.

The search takes them into the rich history of New England: We'll fight in Shays Rebellion and watch the birth of the American industrial revolution on the Blackstone River. We'll march with the legendary 20th Maine in the Civil War. We'll work in the logging camps of the north woods, visit luxury hotels, serve meals in a Newport mansion, open a ski tow in Vermont.

Past and present play off one another as the search for the draft heats up until it finally boils over on the first night of the World Series at the mecca of New England, Fenway Park. And the truth is revealed…
