Synopsis

In the spring of 2008, a house in Emory, Texas went ablaze.  Out of it emerged Terry Caffey, who had sustained five bullet wounds.  He crawled 300 yards to his neighbor's home and was miraculously saved.  His wife and two youngest children were killed in their home.  But his sixteen year old daughter Erin was nowhere to be found. From that blaze would come a true crime story unlike any other.  It was in the weeks to come that 16-year-old Erin Caffey had been dating an older boy, 19-year-old Charlie Wilkinson.  When Erin's parents forbade her from seeing Charlie, the two of them put together a plan.  While Erin and her friend waited in a nearby car, Charlie and a friend would enter the home and kill Erin's parents, so the two could be together.  They used a .22 as well as a samurai sword to finish off both the parents and their two younger boys.  Terry survived, only to learn that his daughter was behind the attack. This is the harrowing, gripping account of teens driven by their love to commit the coldest of crimes.
