Synopsis

O'Shaughnessy's popular heroine Nina Reilly is an attorney defending a teenager named Nikki Zack, who is accused of murdering her wealthy uncle--a man everyone in town, including Nina, hated. Nina is sure Nikki is innocent, and as the case takes on a series of intriguing new angles, the possible suspects pile up. Nina and her sidekick detective Paul van Wagoner team up to try to find the truth, ending with a classic trial scene.
