Synopsis

Returning to her apartment, the last thing that Mrs. Pollifax expects to find is a young woman hiding in her closet. The woman, Kadi Hopkirk, has been given something important by a friend, the son of the assassinated president of a foreign country. With the help of a CIA colleague, Mrs. Pollifax and Kadi are installed in a safe house at a carnival. But before it's over, Mrs. Pollifax's protection of Kadi expands into an assignment that leads them to exotic places and hair-trigger violence.
