Love this series, but this entry was a bit of a letdown. First was the fact that throughout the previous 5 books, I ***umed Imogen would wind up matched with George. She always showed up with him for all the weddings and such, leading me to believe they were an ITEM. . We learn here that they dont live together, just in the same general area. I also very much enjoy the interactions between the Survivors and in this book, they didnt get together until the last few chapters. Im hopeful that the final book, Only Beloved, due next May, will bring them all back together early on, so I can wallow in them for the entire story of George and Dora. Having a little trouble recalling Ralph & Chloes story. Guess Id better re-read Only a Promise between now & May.
