Oral sex and sexually transmitted disease are the twin themes in this thought-provoking exploration of the dynamics of a 'rainbow party'-- where each girl wears a different lipstick color and has oral sex with all the boys there, ending with rainbow colored penises. The organizer of the party, Gin, a devious sophomore with sexual experience and a damaging agenda, has specific outcomes in mind for each of her invitees. Their viewpoints in the hours prior to the party are documented here in scintillating detail. This racy young adult novel created quite a splash in the publishing community, and many booksellers will not stock it. Barnes & Noble is making the title available only online.
This one of the most poorly written and boring books I have decided not to finish. There are many books written for and by adolescents which are excellent, but this isn't one of them. I am sorry I wasted shipping time.
