I much prefer Jayne Anns books on the paranormal, and the romance novel is my least favorite. I particularly dislike the domineering male saves the poor helpless woman romances, which this almost falls under. According to Krentz, when she writes under this name, it should be a story on the paranormal. She did not adhere to her own rules, so I felt like I was deceived.
