Though I found the first book reasonably enjoyable, the second is a disappointing follow-up. Heather's constant self-deprecating internal monologue, which is amusing at first, quickly grows tedius in the second book. Why should the readers like her, when she doesn't like herself. The language in the second book seems more coarse, which quickly grows tiresome as well.
