This brought back memories of why I enjoyed the first dozen or so Dark Hunter books. Unfortunately, it also reminded me of why I gave them up. I was OK with normal everyday critters like vampires and were beasts, but when she moved to Gods, Demons, and such, it surpassed my ability to suspend disbelief. Still have the massive tomes: Acheron & Styxx in mt TBR box, but dont know if Ill ever gather enough motivation to tackle them. I do miss Simi, though.
