Synopsis

A sheltered teenager's naivet' leads her into a seemingly endless web of blackmail in this debut thriller. Studious, unpopular Carole is easy prey for her outgoing, amoral schoolmate Naomi and Naomi's slick friend Eddie, who persuade the virginal teenager to accompany them to a remote Vermont cabin. During a sexual threesome with Eddie, Carole, and local woman Rita, Eddie breaks Rita's neck. Naomi and Eddie convince Carole that she was responsible for the woman's death, a belief that derails Carole's bright future and subjects her to years of extortion and torment.
