Rent Stories from the Classroom: A Teacher's Journey

Synopsis

John Smeby began his career in education in 1994. He spent 23 years as a high school English teacher, middle school counselor and varsity tennis coach. After leaving the San Bernardino City School District in 2015, John is now an author, speaker and photographic artist. His art is displayed in galleries scattered across the Inland Empire area of Southern California. When he is not working in galleries, writing or creating art, he is busy spending time with family and traveling. In addition to authoring Stories from the Classroom, he also completed his first art book, fusionart, in 2016. Smeby lives in Yucaipa, and spends as much time as possible on the north shore of Big Bear Lake. His website is www.johnsmebyartworks.com
