Synopsis

The apple doesn’t fall very far from the tree in this suspenseful debut from the son of acclaimed thriller writers Faye and Jonathan Kellerman. After Gloria Mendez’s employer (and unrequited love), Carl Perreira, fails to return from his annual trip to Mexico, the secretary takes it upon herself to go look for him--or at the very least, recover his body. In the process Gloria learns that she didn’t know as much about Carl as she thought she did, and her miscalculation may prove fatal.
