Read the official novelization to get the full story of this terrifying movie!
From Joss Whedon, the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Drew Goddard, writer of the monster movie phenomenon Cloverfield, comes the horror film to end all horror films!
The details of the plot are a closely guarded secret, though Joss himself has described it as "a straight-up, balls-out, really terrifying horror movie," adding,"it is not just a slasher in the woods. It's a little more complicated than that..."
I did not see the movie so I wanted to read this novel. It was not what I expected. I found the story to be quite good. I enjoyed it as I do read a lot of horror being a horror fan. I read a lot of horror good and bad. I liked the story lineit was different from what I thought it would be. The writing was excellent. I do considered the novel excellent as it seemed realistic rather than make believe. I would recommend the story to horror fans who want an enjoyable medium horror novel to read.A quick summary of the story. A group of friends decide to get away for a weekend and from the city.
