Synopsis

This thriller, which concerns the collision between an oath sworn during the Holocaust and the contemporary conflict in Israel, touches the heart as it engages the adrenaline. When Leah, Esther, Ariana, and Maria were in Auschwitz together, they vowed that if they survived, they would all act to ensure happy lives for one another. Years later, Leah's pregnant granddaughter Elise is living in a settlement outside of Jerusalem. Elise's husband Jonathan and daughter Ilana are on their way home when they're kidnapped by Hamas. In the tense days that follow, Leah will activate that decades-old compact, and she and her friends will do all that's in their considerable power to rescue Jonathan and Ilana before time runs out.
