Grand Duchess Eva de Maubourg is in danger and Jack Ryder is sent from the British Government to bring her to England. Together Eva and Jack travel thru war torn France to get to Brussels, where they can get a ship to England. I really enjoyed The Dangerous MR. Ryder, although it didn't really get going until the last half of the book. It's the start of a new series that sounds promising.
