I had higher expectations since it was a Kay Hooper selection. I am used to the Bishop series, and I set the bar too high. Perhaps the short length had something to do with it. Characters could have been developed more.

I picked this up because I enjoy Kay Hooper's books, this one was simple and entertaining. I was disappointed that is was so short, only took a few hours to get through but it was a nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon when the weather was yucky!
