This final book in the Frontier Doctor trilogy continues the story of Dane and Tharyn Logan, husband and wife medical team serving a mining community west of Denver. While caring for the physical ailments of the residents of this frontier town, the Logans also minister to their spiritual needs. And Dane has the joy of leading a Ute Indian chief and his family to faith in Christ. Dane's biggest challenge comes, however, when the stagecoach he's riding crashes down a ravine. Dane survives, but loses his memory. Who is he? Does he have a family somewhere? And will his trust in God help him find his way back home?
I am not a fan of sappy and unrealistic books. Every book I have picked up from these authors is this way. I am not one to say bad things about authors and their books, but these are all very poorly written and thought out. The characters are inhuman in their goodness and as much as we, as Christians, would like to be inhumanly perfect, until our feet leave this earth we will still be flesh and as such very imperfect and flawed. The books are written as if the authors just chose a place and dropped in a historical fact or two, regardless of the relevancy or accuracy. I think with a little more editing to make the story line a tad more seamless and the characters more realistic it would be a good read.
