Synopsis

In this addition to the Hot Flash Club series of menopausal chick lit, the five friends, exhausted from the work required to run their day spa, decide to take a vacation. When they retreat to an island getaway for the summer, relaxation is the name of the game, but adventure is never far away; Shirley meets an attractive local fisherman, and when it begins to look like this may be more than just a casual summer fling, her companions begin to worry. But all of this is overshadowed by a potential mystery that springs up at the house where they're staying, as valuable objects start disappearing with no explanation.

Nancy Thayer portrays the menopause years in a funny, comedic yet very real way. The characters in this series are very fiesty yet vunerable to life's challenges, all the books in this series are a good read.
