While the storyline was mildly interesting and developing nicely, I just cannot read about a 14 year old marrying a 30 year old. I was very skeeved to discover there are explicitly descriptive love scenes. The depiction of a child 14 is still a child!!! who goes from a virgin nun to an instant nymphomanic once married is extremely disturbing. I have a 14 year old stepdaughter which makes it even more vulgar and vile to read about. Ewwwww. Just, no...I stopped reading 4 or 5 chapters in. Borderline pedophilia just repulses in any form, regardless of historical accuracy.
