Synopsis

After the death of her husband, Nicky McCloud is haunted by an emptiness she can not name. Realizing the freedom to choose her own path for the first time, Nicky sets out on a six month trek of self discovery, leaving the only life she has ever known, as a trophy wife and mother, to hike the Pacific Crest Trail. Jay Reisman is on a secret mission of retribution, revenge, and justice. Her meeting of Nicky on the PCT is not the accident that it seems. Agreeing to team up together to reach their Canadian destination, Jay and Nicky find both beauty and danger amongst the twists and turns of the trail. Together they fight their growing attraction to one another as well as a murderer on the loose.
