In one week, Manhattan will be gone.
In one month, the country. In two months . . . the world.
At New York's JFK Airport an arriving Boeing 777 taxiing along a runway suddenly stops dead. All the shades have been drawn, all communication channels have mysteriously gone quiet. Dr. Eph Goodweather, head of a CDC rapid-response team investigating biological threats, boards the darkened plane . . . and what he finds makes his blood run cold.
A terrifying contagion has come to the unsuspecting city, an unstoppable plague that will spread like an all-consuming wildfire—lethal, merciless, hungry . . . vampiric.
And in a pawnshop in Spanish Harlem an aged Holocaust survivor knows that the war he has been dreading his entire life is finally here . . .
well let me start with it was a great start...mid way to the middle kinda bored with the buildup then it seems to get good...vamp is about to show himself in all signs of the way....then all his children show up...um ya ok lemme tell ya it was quite like watching Quinten Terintinos...from dusk til dawn...AMAZING...from point a to b...but once you got to point b Salma table dancing all awsome turns into this horrid monster vamp it goes down hill...hands down was super disappointed with the b to c in both cer***stances....however...lemme say this if your are a scifi lover youll like this alien sounding story...i personally like my Vamps more realistic if you will Ann Rice..Vampire series so that said if your scifi junkie then knock yourself out wiht a good read with a race against time to save the human race agains the Masterl.
