Book 2 Features:Brother Rurik Wilder shifter that turns into a Hawk The leading lady,Tasya Hunnicutt is on a quest for revenge against the Varinski's, a clan of shifters who had ***assinated her family. In addition, the quest continues in search for another piece of the icon. The icon that can release the Wilder family, aka cousins to the Varinski clan, from their pact with the Devil. I enjoyed this book more then the previous, Scent of Darkness. The relationship between Rurik and Tasya was more intriguing. Her character was strong and determined. Their story unfolded mixed with suspense and action. The series is really taking off and the plot thickens. This is a Romantic tragedy. The romance is charming and HOT. The uncomplicated story patteran makes it a fast satisfying read. Yes, it made me cry.�
