Synopsis

In this politically-minded suspense thriller that portrays the tensions in the Middle East with heartbreaking honesty, a fundamentalist rabbi is kidnapped by a Palestinian terrorist who insists that the Israeli government meet his demands, or the prisoner dies. Experts from Washington are called in, along with Elihu, a retired Mossad spymaster whose vast experience tells him that the rabbi must be kept alive at all costs, in order to prevent a renewal of the bloody cycle of revenge that has plagued that part of the world for far too long.
