I usually love books by Philippa Gregory however I thought this one was horrible. The characters were completely unlikeable. I read the entire book thinking that surely the characters would change and redeem themselves. I also had a hard time with the incesuous relationship between Beatrice and her brother. I would not recommend this book to anyone.
