Most, if not all, children’s books you might have come across would have had cheery and bright storylines with “happily ever after” endings. Howard A. Ludwig has come up with a list of books that are quite the opposite. He also argues that having some of these books (with apparently disappointing endings) on your kid’s bookshelf might actually be a good idea.
